James Bernard Ellis, grew up as an only child with elderly parents, who increasingly needed more care and support as he grew older.
He took care of them, with their physical challenges of ageing and illnesses, ensuring they maintained their freedom of choice and respect.
James wanted to create a vision where he could provide these family values, in a homely, family orientated setting and at the same time provide outstanding personal, empathetic care. He wanted to enhance the lives of other vulnerable people, whist still maintaining their dignity with love and respect.
In 2004, Sentimental Care was born.
Today, these core values of compassion, integrity, respect and communication are at the heart of Sentimental Care. James’ legacy continues and whilst James is sadly no longer with us, his vision remains.
Our aim is to provide care of excellence, enhancing the lives of our residents in a family environment. In essence, your family is our family, our home is your home.
