This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day management of our welcoming nursing home, ensuring our residents receive safe, compassionate and high-quality care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

About the Role:
Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help oversee the daily operation of the home, providing visible leadership and ensuring compliance with CQC Fundamental Standards and current legislation. You will lead by example, inspire the team and drive continuous improvements in quality and resident outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Registered Manager and deputising in their absence.
Leading, supervising and mentoring nursing and care teams.
Promoting a positive, inclusive and supportive working culture.
Monitoring the quality of care and ensuring person-centred care plans are implemented effectively.
Supporting recruitment, induction, training and staff development.
Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice.
Completing audits, risk assessments and quality assurance activities.
Promoting safeguarding, Duty of Candour and effective governance.
Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
Supporting the home during CQC inspections and implementing continuous improvement plans.
The role also includes providing clinical leadership, supporting complex care, medication management and maintaining high clinical standards.
